ABOUT

C. H. Lawler is a native Louisianan married to a native Louisianan. He grew up reading and lists Mark Twain, Flannery O'Connor, Thomas Wolfe, and John Irving as influential. A physician by profession, the move to an electronic medical record, of all things, prompted him to practice typing, which led to a few paragraphs, which led to a few pages, which led to a few pages more until his stories emerged.

"Right now this (The Memory of Time) and Living Among the Dead also by C.H. Lawler are my two favorite books. I've read The Memory of Time three times. Just finished it again. And will certainly read it again and again."

"The more I read the more emotionally attached I felt towards the characters, as If I was right there with them."
